I am a Single 23 year old mother, with a 10 month old baby boy. I live at home with my Mother, and Two Younger Siblings. I Do Not receive any financial assistance from my sons’ father, even though it is court ordered. My mother has been out of work for the past 4 years due to Medical Reasons, and Surgeries needed, but UNABLE to afford. My income is the only money coming into the house-hold, and we find that it is, and has been very hard to even maintain food on the table. With the financial burdens of Two vehicle payments, Two car insurances, (Mother’s) House Payment, House insurance, School necessities for my two younger siblings, as well as Infant necessities such as: Formula, Pampers, Baby Food, Baby Clothes, and other Infant items. Also Medical expenses for my Mother and my 10 Month old baby boy, which both have outstanding Hospital Bills! With in the past 3 years I have drained my credit so much that, I am not even eligible for any loans to assist with my financial responsibilities, because of my credit. I have already applied for food stamps but was found Ineligible. My dreams of ever getting a home for me and my son have been put to a STOP due to these Financial burdens. With this Funding, it would allow for my family and I to start off with a fresh new beginning, and hopefully open doors for better opportunities to come. I believe that everyone deserves a helping hand, my faith, and hope is what keeps me going, as well as my son (who is tugging on my shirt right now as he bounces in his walker 🙂 But I also believe in giving our children the opportunities in life when possible. My mother always told me that what I didn’t like about my child-hood, I should strive to give my son better, so that he wont have to struggle as we did, and with this funding, and with your assistance I believe that goal can be achieved even if it is just to be given a FRESH NEW START! Thank you for your time, and God Bless!
